ADAPCO started designing and developing variable flow controllers for ground-based mosquito control vehicles in 1989. A few years later we began to integrate GPS-GIS capabilities to further improve accuracy while recording and reporting vehicle & application data. Currently over four hundred monitor systems have been used throughout the professional mosquito control industry. By the 1990's, ADAPCO had progressed to understanding the challenges of aerial applications for mosquito control and the importance of accurate drift management. This led to its development of the Wingman DGPS Aerial Management System. Wingman provides data from the AIMMS-20 by Aventech Research, Inc. Wingman calculates the required offsets based on real-time AGDISP spray fate depiction modeling.
